Little children are like beautiful flowers. War, drought, earthquake, flood, accidents, AIDS, terrorism and so many other reasons are responsible in turning beautiful children into orphans. Millions of children are spending their lives in slums, footpaths or in Railway platforms without having access to two sqaure meals or education. Among these unfortunate children a huge number enter the world of crime. Millions of female orphans are stepping into prostitution to keep themselves alive.

The whole world has awakened to the fierce face of terrorism. Orphaned children are the easiest targets for terrorists. They are shown dreams and are motivated to join their world of destruction.

Shelter and love is the topmost priority for any orphaned child, with education coming next. Next comes learning any skill so that he or she may become financially independent and may live a life away from misery.

LIOWA is running a program to improve the lives of such orphaned children. We are working on improving the conditions of these lovely yet ill-fated children through various projects without differentiating on the basis of race, color, gender, religion or country. Several Engineers, Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Politicians and Social workers are members of our Association and give their valuable time to this great service of humanity.
